Film Premiere with Live Score

The Precipice Community Band combines their unique brand of experimental music with immersive multimedia elements to depict an uncanny, mysterious world that is equal parts Lynchian and warmly, humorously provincial.  The group is made up of Antonio Croes on piano, George Heid III on drums, and Ava Lintz on bass, three dynamic musicians who are among the new vanguard of 21st century experimental music.

The band’s new original feature film, “Time and Judgment,” centers around a supernatural cult living in the fictional woodland world known as The Precipice.  It is a beautiful but dangerous rural place that beckons and seduces anyone who stays there for too long rather than just passing through.

The entire movie was filmed in one continuous shot while the band performed a new original suite of music called “Time and Judgment - Calypso Suite,” which centers around the musical styles of the Aruban carnival.

Come join us on the evening of May 22nd for a special screening of “Time and Judgment,” featuring The Precipice Community Band playing the score live along with the movie.

The music, collected over two days of recording and filming into a digital album, will be released on the night of the show.

There will be a $10 performance cover for the band
